Lois Miller
Welcome! I am a PhD Candidate in Economics at the University of Wisconsin - Madison and a 2023 National Academy of Education/Spencer Dissertation Fellow.
I am on the 2023-2024 job market!
My job market paper studies the effects of transferring between colleges on students' educational and labor market outcomes.
Broadly, I am an applied microeconomist with interests in labor economics, public economics, and the economics of education. I mostly research topics in higher education, with a focus on how access to, and resources within, postsecondary education can affect inequality and social mobility. Before coming to Madison, I received my BA in Mathematics from DePauw University.
